Join Lam as an Electrical Engineer and you'll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, and evaluating results to create reliable, cutting-edge solutions. What You’ll Do
Operate as project owner leading multidisciplinary projects with supervision. Review problem statements, generate solutions, and lead efforts in selecting the best solution. Design and develop electrical systems, sub-systems, and solutions, applying engineering methods. Contribute to research and development efforts by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical system designs. Assist in developing functional specifications for electrical/electromechanical systems and power distribution components. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design and modify system components. Perform hands-on testing and validation using lab equipment to characterize system performance. Prepare reports and technical presentations to communicate design, analysis, and results clearly during reviews. Who We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), signal and controls theory, and troubleshooting. Understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems. Knowledge of electrical architecture, system integration, and applications. Experience with PCB design and low voltage circuit design. Familiarity with power and control technologies for automation. Proficiency in CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, HFSS. Ability to interpret electrical schematics. This is a graduate eligible role. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of design for manufacturability, serviceability, and reliability. Skills in troubleshooting with tools like network sniffers and protocol analyzers. Familiarity with problem-solving techniques such as 5-why and 8D. Excellent communication skills, including technical presentations. Experience in the semiconductor industry or related fields.
