IntePros is partnering with an industry leader in orthopedic and robotic surgery technologies to hire a
Senior Biomedical Simulation Engineer . This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about computational modeling, simulation, and driving innovation in the medical device space.
In this role, you will:
Perform detailed literature reviews to support analytical methods
Run static and dynamic nonlinear multibody FEA (with deformable contact, advanced materials, and multiphysics)
Develop and validate analytical models for research and product development
Build automation tools using MATLAB, Python, or Fortran
Evaluate and interpret analysis results; recommend design or process improvements
Author reports for 510(k) submissions, conferences, and journals
Collaborate on cross-functional teams to develop next-gen technologies
Interface with clinical advisors for feedback and validation
Manage external modeling/simulation research with universities and labs
Stay current with competitive and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific field
2+ years of experience in simulation/modeling in the medical device industry (or similar)
Qualifications:
Master’s or PhD in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
Hands‑on with FEA (e.g., Abaqus, ANSYS, LS‑Dyna), CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Pro/E), and OpenSim
Solid understanding of biomechanics, materials, and engineering principles
Strong communication and technical writing skills
