This full time, permanent Sales Engineer opening is at a growing company that specializes in providing engineered solutions that optimize industrial and commercial systems. This position acts as a territory manager, maintaining client relationships through regular service visits and technical expertise. The sales territory spans Fon du Lac to Green Bay. With 10-12% annual growth, we continue expanding our team by adding 1-2 new roles each year. Additionally, successful candidates may be considered for regional manager or sales manager positions as they become available. This role requires a strong foundation in chemistry, mechanical engineering, automation, system design, and fiduciary responsibility.The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
Maintain and grow customer relationships as a self-motivated, outgoing professional
Provide technical sales and support with a strong customer focus
Manage a sales territory, requiring daily travel (up to 3+ hours of driving)
Contribute to a positive team culture and company growth
Demonstrate a proven track record in sales, customer retention, and collaboration
Apply mechanical and technical expertise, particularly with water treatment, water chemistry, or fluid process control
Manage mid-market and large accounts with a history of exceeding sales goals
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Environmental preferred)
3 or more years of B2B sales experience in commercial or industrial markets (experience with industrial systems, manufacturing processes, high/low-pressure systems, or water treatment is required)
Strong foundation in mechanical engineering, chemistry, automation, and system design
Must reside within 45 minutes of the Appleton, WI area
Solid work history with a track record of success
Travel to accounts within your territory which may require driving 3+ hours per day
