As a Process Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the planning, design, operation, and optimization of chemical, physical, mechanical, and biological processes for water and wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations. You’ll collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop impactful solutions that improve public health, environmental quality, and community resilience. Lead advanced engineering planning and design tasks with minimal supervision Prepare engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and regulatory applications Develop project scopes, budgets, and design approaches for small projects Support marketing and business development efforts, including proposal writing and client interviews Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to coordinate project specifications Lead internal and external project coordination meetings Serve as a technical resource on complex projects Apply advanced process engineering principles and stay current with emerging methods Resolve complex issues using expertise and sound judgment Contribute to proposal development and contract negotiations Help establish new standards and specifications for process design Supervise project resources and manage budgets and schedules Serve as engineer of record for your own work and that of junior staff What You Bring
