Our client, an established manufacturing company in southern Minnesota, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to serve as a vital link between clients, sales, production, and engineering teams. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical engineering background who enjoys both technical problem-solving and customer relationship management. You’ll be responsible for managing customer accounts from order initiation through delivery, ensuring technical requirements are met, timelines are maintained, and quality standards are upheld. This is a highly collaborative position, requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments. Act as the point of contact for customers regarding orders, lead times, and technical inquiries Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely manner Provide regular updates on job progress, delivery schedules, and potential delays Collaborate with sales and production teams to process and track customer orders Document customer requirements including specifications, tolerances, and deadlines Assist with quoting, pricing, and contract negotiation Ensure alignment of customer expectations with ISO 9001 quality control standards Partner with quality assurance to address non-conformance issues Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies Gather and share customer feedback to improve service and production efficiency Work with engineering and production teams to resolve technical challenges Develop and implement customer service strategies to enhance satisfaction Qualifications

Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment required Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills required Experience in order tracking, scheduling, and production coordination required Must be able to work onsite in Waseca, MN Employment details
