We are seeking a driven Manufacturing Electrical Design Engineer, Control Panels, with experience in electrical design of control panels in manufacturing to strengthen our engineering team. We are not offering relocation assistance for this position. Base pay range : $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr. On-Site, Day Shift. Exempt. At Tecweigh, customer satisfaction isn’t just a goal — it’s the foundation of everything we do. www.tecweigh.com What we offer our Manufacturing Electrical Design Engineer PTO 401(k) Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability FSA/HSA Pet Insurance EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Scope of Responsibilities Design custom electrical control panels for customer-specific industrial equipment including schematics, panel layouts, and detailed component data for BOMs. Ensure designs comply with UL508A and other relevant standards and safety codes. Support the Product Development team by designing and executing test plans to validate electrical components and PCBA prototypes. Optimize firmware to improve performance and develop new features. Collaborate with the Production team to implement electrical assembly and test procedures that improve efficiency and quality. Support the Sales team by providing quoting and technical information for customer review. Implement ECR/ECO changes to BOMs and schematics. Develop customer support documentation for installation and maintenance. Collaborate with service team to provide customer support, including technical calls with customers and occasional site visits for troubleshooting and installation. Education and Experience Requirements Associate’s degree in electrical engineering and 3+ years of experience or Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience. Demonstrated proficiency in producing industrial control panel schematics and panel layouts with CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical preferred). Understanding of electrical power distribution, motor control, and industrial control systems. Understanding of electrical standards (UL508A, NEC, etc.). Experience with ECI M1 ERP software desired. Ladder logic programming for industrial PLC experience. AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks experience a plus.
