Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities and other state of the art manufacturing facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
This position can work a Hybrid schedule in Indianapolis
This position requires a Professional Engineer License (PE) or the ability to obtain one
Responsibilities
Engineering and design oversight for medium and low voltage power distribution, UPS/Generators, Lighting, Grounding, Fire Alarm, Security, Public Address (PA), Telecomm and Heat Trace systems
Evaluate the desired goal of the system and develop, design or select the required equipment or power/controls to achieve the goal
Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial applications
Direct activities to ensure that construction, installation and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards and customer requirements
Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
AProfessional Engineer License (PE) or the ability to obtain one
10+ years experience in engineering design of building electrical systems
Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination and arc flash (ETAP, SKM or EasyPower)
Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is highly preferred
