Overview
Maintenance Supervisor at Conifer Realty. Immediate opening for the apartment community at Sinclair Way (71 units). Join Conifer Realty’s growing maintenance team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities
Maintain indoor and outdoor maintenance and the presentation of the community. Indoor maintenance includes routine painting, carpentry, drywall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and preparing vacant units for new residents to move in. Outdoor grounds maintenance includes trash management, mowing, trimming shrubbery, cultivating flower beds, and snow/ice management, salting, and debris removal as needed. Prolonged or repetitive physical activity may be required, including standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs (frequent lifting up to 50 lbs). Timely communication with team members for follow-up on work orders. Respond to emergency on-call duties on a rotational basis, with response within 30 minutes of notification; may cover other properties as needed. Adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines and work overtime when required. Work well independently and as part of a team; take pride in quality work and resident service. Qualifications
5+ years of prior site maintenance hands-on management or apartment/affordable housing experience. 2+ years of hands-on maintenance skills (drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, cleaning); HVAC experience is helpful or trainable. Some computer skills (timekeeping, emails, online training modules, work orders); willingness to train. Reliable transportation. Strong time management, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills. Bilingual Spanish-speaking a plus. Knowledge of basic accounting/receivables/payables; budgeting experience a plus. MS Word/Excel for written communications. High school diploma or GED required; OSHA training a plus; HVAC certification helpful. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs frequently. Benefits
