www.camfil.com . Summary: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager oversees all manufacturing processes, manages KPIs, production and labor reporting, and leads assigned projects. Responsible for ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. Develops processes to maximize safety, quality, productivity, and profitability, while fostering a positive employee environment. Must be hands-on and ready to assist with troubleshooting and production when necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise staff according to company policies and legal standards, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and discipline. Ensure adherence to quality procedures and standards. Allocate production hours based on workload and review job pack accuracy. Order tools, coordinate job packs, and report daily manufacturing status to the Operations Manager. Provide clear instructions and standardize procedures to improve efficiency. Address errors, complaints, and maintain safety and quality standards. Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting up to 25 pounds. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree or equivalent; 2-4 years of manufacturing leadership preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with production planning, workflow optimization, ERP, MRP, MES systems. Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, supply chain, and automation technologies. Knowledge of KPIs, budgeting, scheduling, root cause analysis, and process improvements. Ability to troubleshoot, work under pressure, and manage shifting priorities. OSHA safety certification, knowledge of EHS regulations. Proficient in reading, writing, math, and computer systems including Microsoft Office. Experience in project management and staff training. Work Environment: Office, warehouse, and plant settings requiring PPE in certain areas. Must access all facility areas.
