We’re seeking motivated
Electrical Engineers
to join a growing team supporting advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, and mission‑critical facility projects in
Boise, ID .
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering complex electrical systems for state‑of‑the‑art facilities working hands‑on in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment alongside multidisciplinary teams.
We’re hiring at both
mid‑level and senior levels , depending on experience and licensure.
Key Responsibilities
Support or lead the
design and engineering
of facility power distribution systems, lighting, grounding, and low‑voltage communications.
Prepare and review
construction drawings ,
specifications , and
design packages
in accordance with client requirements and applicable codes.
Perform or review
arc flash ,
short circuit ,
load flow , and
voltage drop
calculations using SKM PTW, EasyPower, or ETAP.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver
construction documents , resolve field issues, and ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
Conduct
field verifications ,
site walks , and provide support during construction and startup.
Interface directly with clients, contractors, and vendors to review submittals and clarify design intent.
Participate in project proposals, scoping, and technical problem‑solving efforts.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical Engineering
or
Renewable Energy Engineering
from an
ABET‑accredited
program.
6–10+ years
of electrical engineering experience in facilities, industrial, or building systems design.
Working knowledge of the
National Electrical Code (NEC)
and relevant
NFPA standards .
Proficiency with
AutoCAD ,
Revit , or other
BIM/CAD
design tools.
Experience using
SKM PTW ,
EasyPower , or
ETAP
for electrical system studies.
Experience working in
construction environments , performing field verifications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Professional Engineer (PE)
license, or
Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT)
with ability to obtain PE in Idaho.
Experience in
semiconductor, cleanroom, or data center facility
electrical design.
Experience with
semiconductor tool installation
or
mission‑critical facility power systems .
Familiarity with
OSHA
and
NFPA
safety codes.
Experience reviewing vendor submittals, performing
punch walks , and leading small design teams.
Knowledge of
NavisWorks ,
BIM 360 , or
Autodesk Design Review .
Location:
Onsite in Boise, ID (no remote option).
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (some flexibility).
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs during site walks.
Employment Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
