Overview

We’re seeking a

Manufacturing Process Engineer

to lead process improvement, operational efficiency, and quality initiatives in a precision machining environment. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing cells, reducing waste, and driving continuous improvement across operations supporting medical device components. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute process engineering functions to support manufacturing operations and quality standards. Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process parameters, and technical specifications. Design and validate manufacturing processes, fixtures, and equipment following ISO/FDA standards. Conduct process validations, DOE studies, and statistical analyses to improve process capability and efficiency. Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to reduce waste and optimize production flow. Support cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Machinists, and Customers) to ensure requirements are met. Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Prepare and maintain project schedules, reports, and documentation. Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and quality procedures. Support cost reduction, quoting, and capital improvement initiatives as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field. 4+ years of related experience in process/manufacturing engineering. Strong understanding of CNC machining, GD&T, and precision components. Experience with ISO/FDA-regulated environments. Skilled in SolidWorks, SPC tools, and MS Office Suite. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence process improvements. Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to deliver results under deadlines. Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier/customer visits. Seniorities and Employment
