Flux Resources is seeking a
Senior Drainage Engineer
for a client in
Salt Lake City, UT . The successful candidate will coordinate project execution and control on civil transportation projects, ensuring continuity within scope, budget, and schedule from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Perform hydrology/hydraulic analysis for transportation, site work, and flood control projects.
Design storm sewers, culverts, detention/water quality facilities, bridge deck drainage, river and roadside hydraulics.
Coordinate with design teams for complete and accurate designs.
Oversee plan and detail preparation using AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil-3D, InRoads, or Openroads.
Develop erosion control and stormwater management plans.
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and support construction efforts.
Serve as the lead drainage technical liaison with clients.
Manage local drainage engineering staff.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.
At least 10 years of drainage experience.
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic computer programs like HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, CUHP SWMM, SRH-2D.
Experience with local county and municipal projects.
Licensed Utah Professional Engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.
Experience with Utah DOT, Colorado DOT, Denver city/county, or UDFCD projects.
Experience with 2D hydraulic modeling and bridge scour design.
Knowledge of geomorphology.
