We seek an experienced Controls Engineer for our Shelby Township, MI site, focusing on industrial software development, project support, and client interaction, including travel to customer sites. What You Will Do
Design PLC software and HMIs for industrial automation equipment Debug and troubleshoot PLC software and HMIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines Maintain task lists, project documentation, and customer deliverables Ensure process adherence in controls engineering Support troubleshooting and end-user training Required Experience And Education
Electrical engineering or mechatronics degree preferred At least two years of Controls Engineer experience Knowledge of electrical circuits, schematic reading, and troubleshooting Experience with electrical CAD, Rockwell Logix 5000, Siemens S7-1500, programming languages (VB, C/C++, C#), PLC ladder and structured text programming, HMIs (Rockwell/Siemens), and Microsoft Office Willingness to travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally; weekend work may be required Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
