We are seeking a candidate that has completed their degree and internship with an APA Accredited School. Qualifications Education: Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D or Psy.D) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited psychology program Internship: must have completed an APA approved internship. No exceptions. Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed clinical psychologist Certifications: BLS required License: Current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice Psychology in any state Security Clearance: Must have a clear background in order to pass the security clearance Familiar with organization structure and operation methods of Air Force Possess excellent written and oral communications skills. Effectively use correct grammar and spelling in all written communications. Description Of Services This position is based inside an Army Correctional (prison) environment. This position will go through a

paid

physical conditioning course (low to medium difficulty, takes place inside a gym) prior to starting. 75% of inmates are ex-military sexual offenders. The remaining 25% are ex-military other types of offenders. The position is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining effective treatment and rehabilitation for long term inmates. Highly specialized and unique treatment programs include but are not limited to: Violent Offender Treatment, Sexual Offender, Substance Abuse, and general mental health. Assignment also includes collecting and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness to justify initiation, continuation, discontinuance, or modification of specialized individual or group treatment programs. DUTIES 5-9 patients per day case load Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges. Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate. Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders. Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries. Assist in rehabilitation of patients. WORK HOURS Monday through Thursday 0700-1700 with 1 hour paid lunch break– 40 hours per week.
