Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

Master's Degree: Required Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications

Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification: Required American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required Essential Functions

Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment. Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Supervises assistants and support staff. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
