Summary:
Conducts complex procedures and tests using Computed Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data. Collaborates with teams such as Trauma, Stroke, and Cardiology to obtain necessary imaging for advanced diagnoses to aid in treatment.

Conduct complex procedures and tests using CT equipment, collaborating with various teams to obtain necessary imaging. Assist radiologists in performing high-risk invasive diagnostic techniques, contributing input for alternative approaches and adjusting scan parameters to limit radiation exposure. Evaluate contraindications such as medications, patient preparation, or patient inability/willingness, and coordinate appropriate care. Perform specialized procedures like CTA perfusion, Code IA/Stroke/Bat, and others, demonstrating ability to train team members. Recognize normal and abnormal scan characteristics, alerting radiologists for escalation or additional care. Manipulate parameters for specific exams, including monitoring device management and computer settings. Analyze scan data during examinations to ensure comprehensive and quality images, noting any complications. Manage care triage for anesthesia exams, providing education and ensuring optimal parameters and contrast administration. Obtain and manipulate images according to protocols, including 3D reconstructions and appropriate window/level settings. Administer contrast agents following safety protocols, establish IV lines, and verify lab values before contrast use. Other Information

Completion of an accredited Radiological Science program with advanced CT registry. Licensure/Certification:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or eligible, with advanced CT certification. Maintain registry and CE requirements annually. Current HCP BLS required. Experience:
