Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support manufacturing operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated systems including Allen Bradley PLCs and industrial robots. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment reliability and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics (e.g., Fanuc, ABB). Modify PLC and robot programs to resolve issues and improve performance. Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on control systems. Support equipment installations, commissioning, and startups. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues. Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams. Maintain up-to-date documentation and backups of programs. Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives. Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 5+ years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and industrial robots in a manufacturing setting. Proficient in PLC logic, ladder diagrams, and HMI systems. Familiarity with servos, sensors, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Physical Requirements: Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable in industrial environments with noise, heat, and machinery.
