Overview
Mobile Engineering Manager (Bangkok based, relocation provided) at Agoda. This role leads the Booking Form app engineering team and combines strong technical leadership with hands-on development. Responsibilities
Lead the Booking Form app engineering team to improve user experience and drive business growth through optimization and new feature development. Collaborate with product managers to shape and execute projects, guide and review the team's work, and contribute hands-on when necessary. Drive technical decisions, define and implement a strategy to adopt the latest technologies, and coordinate with stakeholders; report to senior leadership. Support people development, recruit and integrate high-performing engineers, and foster engineering excellence across the stack (native iOS/Android and cross-platform technologies). What You’ll Need to Succeed
Extremely proficient in both Swift and Kotlin. Experience with, or interest in, cross-platform technologies and frameworks such as Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, Flutter, NativeScript, Ionic. Knowledge of other languages is a plus (e.g., Objective-C, Java, C#, Scala). Proficiency in modern coding practices (dependency injection, reactive programming, MVVM, design patterns). Passionate about technology and mobile apps. Experience working in a successful agile development team. Ability to take full responsibility for the product—from planning through deployment and maintenance. About Agoda
