AWS Certified Welding Inspectors for off-site fabrication shops in
Upstate New York
that produce bridge and highway products for transportation agencies – we work regionally AND nationally! Required Experience Is Consistent With, But Not Limited To Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers Production of daily written shop reports Required Attributes Minimum Education: High School Minimum years of experience: 3 AWS Certified Welding Inspector Computer Skills: Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applications Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work well independently and with others Need reliable transportation Preferred Attributes Experience performing QA/QC of bridge and highway structures fabrication. Non-Destructive Testing [NDT] certifications (e.g.: UT, MT, PT, RT). AWS D1.1/D1.5 Experience. Coating Inspection experience. AMPP/NACE/SSPC Certification Why Work With Us?
