Assist the Quality Manager in developing and implementing strategic plans to improve plant Safety, Quality, and Efficiency while ensuring product and processes adhere to robust quality and engineering policies, procedures, and guidelines. Primary Responsibilities
Analyzing failures, corrective, and preventive action to respond to customer complaints Leading teams through problem identification, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Demonstrating experience with Quality tools, such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone diagrams, process mapping Investigating and troubleshooting product, process, or production issues Responsibility for assisting with continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc. Identifying and reviewing Part Qualification documents such as First Article Inspection, Gage R&R, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, capability study, control plan, process validation etc. Monitoring, analyzing, reporting, and communicating quality metrics and performance Supplier development, validation, and supplier quality Ensuring timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions, and preventive actions. Developing requirements for quality inspection of incoming material from supplier Facilitating the completion of Supplier Corrective Action Request and Vendor Quality Notices from supplier Monitoring outside and internal part and process capabilities Identifying and implement Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost improvement projects Qualifications
2 years’ experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, continuous improvement or similar role 1 year manufacturing preferred 1 year ISO or IATF preferred Quality System Auditing Root Cause Corrective Action Six Sigma Principles FMEA Control Plans PPAP Capability Studies Statistical Process Controls Education
Degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or comparable discipline and at least 1-year related experience; or an equivalent in combination of education and experience. Core Values
