Have a strong background in both the EMI standards and circuit design Understand that the test environment is critical in designing the protection circuitry Read high-level system requirements, flow requirements down to system elements, and analyze the circuit to assess margin with respect to the EMI threat environment Qualifications You Must Have

Experience in simulating microwave circuits (including component & PWB parasitics) using Keysight ADS Experience to design, simulate, and test RF circuits up to 50 GHz using Keysight ADS Experience with RF/Microwave building blocks: Amplifier, A/D, D/A, DDS, Directional Coupler, Frequency Mixer, Various Filters, Oscillator, VCO, etc. Understanding of RF/Microwave concepts: dB, dBc, dBi, dBm, Bandwidth, EIRP, G/T, Gain, Intermodulation, Isolation, Noise Figure, Phase/Amplitude, Phase Noise, Return Loss, Spurious, Third Order Intercept, VSWR Experience using RF test equipment: Network Analyzer with calibration kits, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, RF Power Meter, Oscilloscope Occasional domestic and international travel may be required Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of related experience Qualifications We Prefer

Ability to work with CST Cable Studio and CST expertise Comfortable with cable construction details and running circuit simulations with 3D models and 3D field simulations (time and frequency domain) LTSPICE expertise and ability to build simulations with parasitic values from schematics Ability to relate transient signals from CST simulations to circuit input Understanding of Thevenin equivalent sources Electromagnetics: deep antenna theory as applied to apertures and EMI transients; Maxwell’s equations implications for EMI emissions and coupling Circuit design: expert in low to medium frequency filter design and layout impedance/coupling considerations General knowledge of Power Supply circuitry and related filters for EMI transient protection Familiarity with standards: MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-188-125, TEMPEST 01-13, TEMPEST 01-92 What We Offer
