This role offers opportunities to lead design and EPC projects in the high voltage transmission space. Responsibilities

Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians Manage diverse and challenging projects across our portfolio of design services and EPC programs Oversee design quality, budget, and schedule Support client interaction, proposals, and business development Develop good working relationships with project leadership, design teams, and support staff Communicate client interests and drivers to project team members and develop approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to team members Occasional travel to support site visits, design reviews, and client meetings Ensure compliance with Black & Veatch quality program and maintain client and industry standards on assigned projects Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) or design services overhead transmission line projects for investor owned utilities in the United States 11 years of experience in design of high voltage overhead transmission lines with knowledge of PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading design, foundation design, and overall project lifecycle Strong communication skills and initiative to engage with clients to grow relationships Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards Working knowledge of interdisciplinary project coordination: procurement, subcontract administration, permitting, real estate and land acquisition, and construction support Working knowledge of the proposal process and developing engineering estimates P.E. license (highly preferred) Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program Minimum of 11 years related work experience Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) as applicable Certifications and Work Environment

Professional registration or licensure in the designated home country, or active pursuit of such registration Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days; occasional travel to client sites Employment Details
