Koch Finishing Systems is hiring a Controls Engineer to design, program, and commission automated finishing equipment. Join a hands‑on team delivering innovative solutions for manufacturing automation.
Responsibilities
Design and develop control systems for automated finishing equipment.
Program PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, and other control devices.
Test, debug, and troubleshoot control systems.
Support installation and commissioning at customer sites.
Create documentation, including manuals, diagrams, and electrical drawings.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (ANSI, NFPA) and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in controls engineering for manufacturing or automation.
Proficient with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 500/5000, Rockwell programming.
Knowledge of C, C++, or Python for embedded controls is a plus.
Familiarity with Siemens, GE Fanuc, Modicon, Square D, or Telemecanique PLCs is a bonus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
Strong problem‑solving skills; able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
