Overview Now Hiring: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Location: Arkansas Lighthouse Charter Schools | Multi-Campus Support. Position Type: Full-Time | Certified/Professional | 193 Day Contract.

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help scholars unlock their potential—one sound, one word, one conversation at a time.

Position Overview The SLP will provide speech and language therapy services to scholars across multiple campuses, including evaluations, development of IEPs, therapy delivery, and support for school staff and families in understanding and addressing communication needs.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency screenings and evaluations

Develop and implement IEPs and individualized treatment plans for scholars with communication disorders

Provide direct and consultative speech/language services in accordance with students’ IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, parents, and service providers to support scholar development

Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA)

Assist with the development of RTI/MTSS strategies for scholars with mild or emerging speech needs

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and professional learning communities

Educate staff and families on communication strategies that support academic success and social growth

Stay current with best practices and innovations in speech-language pathology and school-based therapy

Qualifications Required:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid Arkansas SLP license through the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Valid Arkansas Department of Education certification

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to travel to multiple school sites if needed

Preferred:

Experience working in K–12 public or charter school settings

Familiarity with IEP systems such as eSchool

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive therapy practices

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
