Certified Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner with an interest in rural medicine Post-training experience in a primary care setting preferred Ability to work well as part of a 7-member primary care team Practice Highlights

Full scope Family Medicine (no OB) Approved for a range of 0.8 – 1.0 FTE Beautiful building; well equipped for a Critical Access facility Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm No call Average of 15 patients/day Large, shared office with windows Designated CMA per provider Robust RN support EPIC EMR Compensation & Benefits

Within scope of practice and in alignment with hospital bylaws and PHMG physician supervision expectations, responsible for advanced level of nursing evaluation, clinical assessment, prescribing and monitoring medications and follow-up care for patients. Responsible for patient and family teaching. Essential Functions

Identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion issues while administering quality patient care. Work in an independent and interdependent relationship with medical staff; consult, collaborate, or refer as needed. Direct nursing and other staff as appropriate. Prescribe medications and treatments; order lab and diagnostic tests; interpret results. Educate patients and families about preventive care and treatment plans. Maintain accurate, confidential medical records; document evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, education, referrals and consultations. Apply new knowledge from conferences and literature to clinical practice. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education

Must fulfill educational requirements to obtain ARNP license in State of Practice Experience & Credentials

Nurse Practitioner license requirements per state (Oregon/Washington/Alaska as applicable) Drug Enforcement Administration registration Driver’s License with proof of auto insurance Basic Life Support (required upon hire) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred) Skills

Knowledge of growth and development principles across life stages; patient-focused care Effective verbal and written communication Interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, nursing staff, and other departments Commitment to ongoing educational growth and quality improvement Working Conditions
