Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Radiology – Full Time at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Join the close-knit Nuclear Medicine team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley and work with dynamic colleagues and a diverse patient population covering Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. Responsibilities
Handle, prepare, assay, administer and dispose of sensitive radiopharmaceuticals. Perform quality control and follow aseptic technique standards to ensure patient and colleague safety. Maintain records of receipt for all radiopharmaceuticals to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program. New York State Nuclear Medicine License from the Department of Health (NYSDOH). Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers while performing Nuclear Medicine exams. Analytical skills to evaluate and perform Nuclear Medicine exams. Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Previous experience in Nuclear Cardiology. PET experience. Work Details
Type: Full-time (Monday through Friday Day) with on-call rotation. Location: NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY. Salary
$52.90-$62.35/Hourly. Additional Information
All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Employees should live within commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
