Here you will work with dynamic colleagues and a diverse patient population covering Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. Well depend on you to handle, prepare, assay, administer and dispose of sensitive radiopharmaceuticals. Youll perform quality control and follow aseptic technique standards to ensure patient and colleague safety. You'll maintain records of receipt for all radiopharmaceuticals to ensure compliance with all Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulations.**This is a full-time (Monday through Friday Day) position with an on-call rotation located at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY.****Required Criteria*** Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.* New York State Nuclear Medicine License from the Department of Health (NYSDOH)* Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and / or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)* Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients, patients families, physicians, and other health care providers while performing Nuclear Medicine exams.* Analytical skills in order to evaluate and perform Nuclear Medicine exams.**Preferred Criteria*** Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist* Previous experience in Nuclear Cardiology* PET ExperienceJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
