Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at apartment communities in Boston's Fenway Region.
Responsibilities
Electrical maintenance and repairs
Plumbing maintenance and repairs
HVAC system maintenance and repairs
Appliance repair
Locks & keys maintenance and troubleshooting
Basic carpentry work
Painting and drywall repair
General janitorial duties
Grounds maintenance, including snow removal
Cleaning and maintaining high levels of cleanliness in common areas and assigned areas
Maintaining exterior grounds according to company standards
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of related facilities maintenance experience
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
Solid computer skills
Excellent customer service skills
Initiative and self‑starter attitude
Reliability and ability to respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner
On‑call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays
Reliable vehicle required for performing essential duties
