AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a Water and Wastewater Project Manager with a passion for water, wastewater conveyance, treatment plant evaluation, design, and construction. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an established career serving as a client-facing project manager on regional and municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to immediately contribute to an established and successful water practice in the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area and New England working on a diverse range of technically challenging water projects. Responsibilities

Lead multi-discipline and complex water and wastewater design projects from the planning through permitting and construction phases. Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects to approved scope, budget, and schedule. Perform engineering technical reviews and implement AECOM quality standards. Point of contact internally and externally for projects and clients in New England. Develop and mentor mid-level and junior staff for career development. Support business development activities, including technical and cost pricing efforts for proposals. Opportunity for participation in water and wastewater organizations through presentations at conferences and volunteering. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 6+ years of related experience in water and/or wastewater treatment, pumping and collection systems. Registered Professional Engineer. Valid U.S. Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review. Preferred Capabilities: 10+ years of related experience in water/wastewater consulting and engineering management. Registered Professional Engineer in CT or ability to obtain within 6 months. Previous experience leading scope, technical approach and pricing efforts for leading business development activities. Previous water and/or wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection systems and client relations experience. Previous experience leading client and public presentations Ability to work collaboratively and motivate staff and project team. Previous experience leading design build/alternate delivery projects. Additional Information This position requires travel within CT and nearby states. Relocation is available for this position. Sponsorship is not available fort this position. About AECOM
