Job Description

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Team Lead is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment, managing personnel and delivery of quality aircraft/product on time. The Team Lead prioritizes all work to be accomplished during a specific shift and forecasting the next 24 hours. The Team Lead performs work within budgeted time within AerSale, FAA, and the customers’ standards or quality. Responsibilities include setting up the oncoming shift, coordinating with the outgoing team, and developing project budgets.

Sign On Bonus: $1,200.00

Hourly Pay Rate Range: $22.00 to $34.00

Additional Hourly Pay Rate: $2.00 per License

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor attendance, performance, and complete proficiency appraisals.

Evaluate vacation requests and respond accordingly.

Promote safety culture and monitor compliance with safety guidelines.

Maintain and track budgets, communicate issues, and resolve conflicts.

Perform disciplinary actions as needed.

Attend meetings to discuss aircraft status and coordinate activities.

Assist with project scheduling, parts tracking, and support group coordination.

Monitor budgets, prepare financial overviews, and assist with billing.

Conduct safety inspections, audits, and participate in investigations.

Ensure technical training and proper use of reference data.

Ensure parts are ordered and tracked accurately.

Provide data and estimates to support project planning.

Education And Experience

Aviation Business Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

5+ years of aircraft mechanic experience or supervisory experience.

A&P License required.

Skills And Abilities

Advanced computer skills (MS Office preferred).

Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints.

Strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to bend, kneel, stand, climb stairs/ladders.

Normal or corrected vision and hearing.

Subject to loud noise, work above head.
