This position is available at UIC College Prep and Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy. UIC College Prep - ML Teacher & Coordinator Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy - Spanish Teacher & ML Coordinator Noble’s mission is to ensure that all students have equitable and positive school experiences that equip them to complete college and lead choice-filled lives. Teach ESL courses and support content-aligned language development for ML students. Design lessons aligned to grade-level standards and student language proficiency data. Collaborate with content teachers to embed language development strategies and modifications into general education instruction. Monitor compliance with English Language Development (ELD) plans and ML accommodations. Build staff knowledge and skills to support ML students across all classrooms. For Rowe-Clark position only: Teach Spanish language classes Ideal Qualifications: An unwavering belief that all students can succeed in high school, college, and lead exemplary lives Proven track record of results in previous roles Self-awareness, a regular practice of reflection, and a desire to continuously improve Mastery of and enthusiasm for supporting Multilingual Learners Proven commitment to serving students of color and contributing to anti-racism in practice and disposition Fluent in Spanish is preferred Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required Eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basis Active Illinois Teaching License (PEL) with an ESL endorsement required Compensation & Benefits: We offer a predictable salary schedule for teachers, and our employee benefits are thoughtfully designed to support us in this ambition.
