Primary Responsibilities

Ensure concession locations are properly set up for game/event day, including cleanliness, inventory par levels and working equipment.

Supervise and lead a team and volunteers responsible for executing daily and event day operations.

Uphold and enforce guest service, operational excellence and safety standards through pre & post shift meetings, training sessions (in groups and one on one), observation, and conduct corrective action follow-up.

Be visible, approachable and a team leader, leading by example and provide coaching & training while assisting teams in finalizing all tasks.

Maintain positive customer relations by setting an example for our staff and volunteers by modeling the LEGENDS Way.

Ensuring operational consistency throughout the venue focusing on the details that showcase our next level of service such as displays, signage, equipment placement, uniform expectations, etc.

Foster an environment that delivers excellent food and beverage service, while maximizing guest satisfaction and expectations.

Utilize Clover Manager to analyze and review units sold recaps to prepare and place orders for the following event.

Utilize Clover Manager to project kitchen production details by reviewing location sales by menu item.

Assist Concession Managers in conducting operational training and be an extra set of eyes, an extra layer of supervision and support for all team members.

Create weekly and event day schedules; use ABI to track employee labor.

Respond to customer complaints in an efficient and positive manner aiming for immediate resolution.

Maintain labor and operating costs while working with budget guidelines provided.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Legends’ policies regarding food safety and alcohol service.

Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the high-volume foodservice industry, preferably in concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, Spanish an asset.

Strong problem solving skills in a deadline-oriented and fast paced environment.

Demonstrate leadership in overseeing team members and spearheading projects or initiatives.

Customer-service oriented with the ability to communicate with team members, vendors, and guests in a positive and professional manner.

Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.

Advanced food and beverage service and sanitation training preferred.

Be creative and innovative in driving our business to the next level.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn Clover POS Manager and ABI Mastermind.

Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.

Must be available for all Tampa Bay Buccaneers, USF and major stadium events such as concerts and dirt events. Ability to work beyond standard hours when necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Follow and encourage team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

Mental & Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, lift, carry, reach, squat, push and pull; all up to 50lbs.

Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours during a single shift while navigating ramps, stairs, elevators and guests.

Outdoor venue indicative of heat and humidity based on weather conditions. Work environment may be within extreme temperatures.

Ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus and complete tasks independently.

Make timely decisions in the context of workflow and operation efficiencies.

Ability to communicate and lead teams to complete tasks in situations where timing is essential. Comfort speaking in front of a group and provide clear direction.
