Overview

Sr. Product Manager at The Home Depot who assesses market needs and inspires cross-functional product teams to deliver value. The role focuses on driving sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction through quality products. Works with developers, designers, and business partners; supports business reviews and communicates across levels of the organization. Able to operate at both strategic and tactical levels to generate growth ideas, analyze data, solve problems, and lead teams. Key Responsibilities

50% Strategy & Planning: empathize with end users, translate goals into product strategy, set priorities, identify goals/metrics, manage and groom the product backlog, partner with Finance on business plans, monitor competitive landscape, ensure product directions balance user needs with business goals to drive sales, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 20% Delivery & Execution: test and refine assumptions through user research, document and ensure quality/change control standards, create and prioritize user stories, make product decisions that drive daily value, assess risks and dependencies, participate in standups, planning, demos, and retrospectives, translate complex concepts for stakeholders. 30% People: foster collaboration across Engineering, UX, and other teams; promote modern software practices; advocate for end users; disseminate lessons learned; manage cross-functional expectations; guide junior team members; participate in learning and talent development activities. Direct Manager / Direct Reports

Typically reports to the Product Management Manager or Sr. Manager. Travel Requirements

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Physical Requirements

Most of the time is spent sitting; allowing movement as needed. Occasional light lifting may be required. Working Conditions

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications

3-6 years of relevant work experience Experience as a Product Manager in a modern software development environment Experience with agile development practices and XP principles (paired programming, TDD, continuous deployment) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels Experience working in cross-functional teams and in creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories Experience conducting user research and competitive analysis Experience guiding junior team members in Product Management fundamentals Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field Preferred Education
