Relocation assistance may be available. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering PSS Manager 2 to support the Sentinel program. This role can be located in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO and may offer relocation assistance. What You’ll Get To Do

Lead the systems engineering execution as the main focal point for the C&L product team for C2 PSS. Manage the day-to-day operations of the PSS Integrated Node team. Lead the implementation of requirements development, verification activities, use cases, and architecture development. Develop and mature systems engineering content and artifacts using MBSE tools and methods. Coordinate across diverse C&L engineering design teams to manage the technical baseline. Present at milestone reviews to program leadership and the customer. Proactively coordinate with various teams to develop, document, and maintain design solutions. Collaborate with C2 and C&L Product Development teams; work within fast-paced Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Maintain a Systems Engineering discipline Section within the SDS Systems Engineering organization and report to the SDS Systems Engineering Department Manager. Provide career mentorship and operational support to a Functional Home Room (FHR) team of 8–12 ICs. Key FHR responsibilities include personnel performance management, process familiarization and training, and staffing of roles on projects. 20% of effort on Functional Homeroom responsibilities; 80% on a technical assignment as the Physical Security Lead for C2 Product Engineering. Desired experience: MBSE (Cameo), DOORS requirements management, verification planning, and interface definition and planning. Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Own the people, processes, and tools that support business areas and programs in achieving their missions. Support FHR efforts in process improvement, training, and staffing. Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application Experience managing people preferred These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have

Master’s degree in Engineering Experience with ICBM systems Experience leading technical teams Understanding of NG engineering processes Experience in training and mentoring junior engineers Experience in MBSE methodology Experience with Agile framework Leadership skills and ability to work in a team; EVMS/CAM experience Current Sentinel SAP (Special Access Program) knowledge or eligibility Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $224,000.00. The salary range is a general guideline and may reflect factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and market conditions. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses depending on position. Long-term incentives may apply for VP/Director levels.
