We are seeking mission‑oriented people to join our team as experienced DOD Cyber Joint Operational Planners to lead the planning, development, execution and analysis of full spectrum cyber operations.
Responsibilities
Lead planners who execute direct gap analysis, operational assessment, and analysis efforts and supervise technical research, executive summaries, and planning design briefings.
Lead senior Cyber National Mission Force planners to provide input for the development of Plans, CONOPs, COAs, TTPs and other related documents for DODIN Cyber Operations.
Understand, analyze, and evaluate current and emerging threats within the tasked mission areas of responsibility.
Monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and instructions from higher echelons and recommend compliance and considerations for planning efforts.
Develop plans and orders through the application of operational art and operational design, using the JOPP, within milestones, deliverables, and interaction points for plans generated with APEX activities.
Provide input to briefings, transition concepts to execution, and assist in coordinating joint operational planning in support of training, exercises, combat, and contingency operations.
Develop and integrate cyberspace capabilities into deliberate, contingency, operational, and crisis action plans.
Provide input to address shortfalls, prioritize and validate requirements, and modify development planning efforts as the cyberspace environment changes.
Contribute to the development of exercise scenarios, exercise operational plans, and other required documentation to support training priorities.
Participate in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and Operational Planning Groups/Teams (OPG/OPTs).
Qualifications
10 years of experience as a Cyberspace Joint Operation Planner with a BA/BS (or 8 years with MS/MA, or 7 years with Ph.D).
Knowledge of the JPP and the systems that compose APEX planning formats and guidance.
Education or experience with military joint operations planning through the Joint Professional Military Education Phase II (JPME II) or comparable courses that may substitute for JPME II.
Bonus Points
Understanding of Cyber missions, operations, and joint operational environments and domains.
Experience with Cyber Targeting and staff processes required prior to mission execution.
Knowledge of the planning and conduct of IO or Information Advantage Operations.
Knowledge and experience in Cyber Mission Team (CMT) management and employment.
Demonstrated initiative in executing past roles and responsibilities.
Security Clearance
Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance and be willing to sit for a polygraph.
Compensation As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of
California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is $126,300—$243,100 USD.
