Overview
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is hiring a Senior Project Manager to join our Aviation program in Nashville, TN. The primary duties include planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of multi-discipline airport projects with high technical complexity and involving managing project staff. Compensation
Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr. Salary is based on experience and will be discussed with the manager in the interview. Location: Nashville, TN. Responsibilities
Leads the successful development and implementation of multiple, concurrent airside and landside capital projects at an international airport facility as part of the construction and program management team. Collaborates with consultants, airport staff, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met for each assigned project. Manages staffing and workload through project development to complete projects on time and within budget. Reviews plans, develops cost estimates and projections, schedules and conducts design progress meetings, and prepares records required for Federal or state reimbursement. Ensures construction contracts comply with applicable federal and state equal opportunity legislation. Coordinates activities with outside agencies to assure timely completion of all projects; compiles and analyzes technical data; prepares reports concerning project-related activities. Oversees Quality Assurance Review, implements QA/QC procedures, and leads training for personnel. Monitors safety compliance and contractor safety oversight. Oversees project closeout administration. Typically supervises project staff and acts as a mentor for less experienced staff members. Education/Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering PE license is required PMP certification is preferred Minimum 10-15 years of aviation-related engineering or construction management experience, including planning services related to airport master planning and project management A minimum of 5 years aviation design project management experience Experience designing and managing aviation projects and developing plans, specifications, and estimates for airport agencies and private clients Experience with FAA design standards, procedures, and policies AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, MS Office and MS Project experience preferred Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills desired Good communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills required Knowledge of the Nashville aviation market, client relationships, and past project experience preferred Commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture Local candidates preferred Benefits
