Choice Care Surgery Center – Materials Manager
Choice Care Surgery Center, Midland, TX is hiring a Materials Manager.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a unit work environment reflecting USPI’s EDGE™, performance improvement and customer service program consistent with the Corporation’s Mission Statement.
Maintain adequate inventory levels by checking shelves and automated inventory system and establishes par levels for all supplies.
Ensure utilization of USPI national agreements.
Interface with appropriate departments to ensure proper placement, follow up and delivery of orders.
Interact with sales representatives resolving issues related to supplies or delivery of supplies.
Establish and maintain proper document flow and information updates for the automated inventory system.
Receive all incoming supply and equipment items.
Check supply dated items and regularly rotate stock.
Implement and maintain all facets of the automated inventory system.
Conduct quarterly physical inventory of implants and inventory items.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost-conscious manner, complying with all USPI's policies, procedures and regulations.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
1-2 years medical purchasing/buying experience.
Knowledge of computer inventory management systems, various software programs and medical products.
Working knowledge of stocking and storing medical and non-medical supplies.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
