The Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager Indirect – Supply Chain & Warehousing manages a portfolio of Logistics categories and projects. Responsibilities include establishing collaborative relationships with senior leaders to align category strategies, developing or updating sourcing strategies, partnering with global and regional programs to drive procurement, establishing long-term agreements, advising country programs, and building partnerships with suppliers. The categories focus on Supply Chain with strong emphasis on warehousing including 3PL and inbound warehousing. Key Responsibilities
Facilitate sourcing initiatives and projects with Programs; develop category strategies; negotiate with suppliers; establish and maintain supplier relationships; lead business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize or adjust the warehouse network with a fast acquisition and growth approach. Advise management and articulate a long-term vision for a fast-changing, growing company. Establish strong collaborative relationships with internal groups and USA Supply Chain. Provide monthly progress reporting on savings, value analysis, and completed negotiations. Implement a Yearly Saving Program in coordination with Sr Director; track monthly with commentary. Source and qualify suppliers, including site visits; set up procedures for evaluating potential suppliers. Compile and maintain supplier information for evaluation; research and compile purchasing information for bid proposals. Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and pricing; prepare market analysis reports with recommendations. Continuously assess suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and service. Manage nonproductive resources. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. 7-10 years purchasing experience, including at least 2 years in Supply Chain categories including freight and warehousing. Experience in CPG industry preferred; warehousing background considered even without procurement. Excellent Microsoft Office; project management; strong negotiation and presentation skills; strong planning and leadership; data-driven with ability to present to leadership. Ability to work in a team, adapt to changing environment; bilingual (French/English) a plus.
