Overview As Site Merchandising Manager in Web Store Ops, you’ll lead a team to drive the merchandise presentation strategy for a TJX Ecommerce site. You’ll optimize navigation, content, and product strategies to enhance engagement, support discovery, and increase conversion. By blending data, creativity, and storytelling, you’ll deliver seamless, on-brand experiences that elevate the shopping journey and drive sales. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to align digital efforts with broader business goals and help scale our digital business.
Responsibilities
Own navigational strategy, including taxonomy optimization to align with seasonal shifts to drive product discovery and conversion
Lead execution of merchandising strategies aligned with seasonal shifts and key retail moments
Build and develop a high-performing team, encouraging a culture of inclusion, engagement, and growth
Manage content and product strategies to highlight business drivers and brand initiatives, adjusting based on performance
Monitor competitive and industry trends, sharing insights and recommendations to inform strategy
Partner across functions (Merchandising/Planning, Marketing/Creative, Optimization/Analytics) to ensure alignment and resolve issues/customer struggles to drive sales
Champion innovation and experimentation to stay ahead of consumer and market trends
Drive conversion growth by crafting a frictionless shopping experience for all visitors
Identify opportunities to improve product discoverability, accelerate conversion, and increase customer spend and frequency through enhanced site experiences
Grow market share by testing and implementing visitor retention strategies
Promote and empower a “one team” approach through collaboration and influencing across the business
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in eCommerce, Merchandising, or Marketing
4+ years of experience in eCommerce, Marketing or Merchandising, preferably in retail or fashion/home fashions
Ability to build relationships with all levels within an organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including deep listening and inquiry, highly collaborative
Proven track record of successful team leadership and development
Experience training and developing staff
Interest in fashion/style, home trends, and digitally savvy
Experience evaluating creative and interpreting brand vision through to execution
Skilled user of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with Adobe or Google Analytics and A/B testing is a plus, but not required
This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.
Compensation and Benefits The position has a starting salary range of $92,900.00 to $118,500.00 per year. This role is eligible for an annual incentive and long-term incentives. Benefits include associate discount; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; short/long-term disability; paid holidays/vacation/sick/bereavement/parental leave; EAP; and various programs.
