Overview
Procurement Counsel role at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG). This position provides guidance on a wide variety of legal matters, with legal oversight of EnergyLink’s procurement efforts and support to Quanta’s enterprise-wide supply-chain initiatives. Location: Houston, Texas. What You'll Do
Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, master supply agreements, services agreements, and purchase orders directly with manufacturers and vendors. Implement legal processes and contract templates for procurement efforts with applicable flow-down provisions from customer contracts where appropriate. Provide legal support for international shipping, customs, and trade compliance activities; coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers on import/export classifications and documents. Collaborate on development of requests for proposals for subcontractors/vendors and risk registers for equipment and materials used in work. Conduct trainings on contract templates and applicable state and federal procurement laws, rules, and regulations. Provide contract support and advise on contract issues during project execution, including change orders. Assist with claims, litigation, and regulatory investigations. Travel to various company locations, project sites, legal proceedings, and contract negotiations as required. Perform other job-related duties as assigned and complete special projects as needed.
