Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with Water Treatment/Wastewater experience to join our established team in Detroit, MI.
Base pay range: $115,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr.

Responsibilities
Plans, directs, and coordinates construction activities for a wide variety of projects, primarily Water/Wastewater plants, as well as other concrete, commercial and industrial projects.
Typical workload involves overseeing one large project or a couple/several smaller projects.
Ensure project goals are accomplished within prescribed timeframes and funding parameters, either personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Manage Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen who supervise construction employees; provide overall direction and evaluation of the team.
Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
Confer with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties, responsibilities and authority.
Establish work plans and staffing for each phase of the project; arrange recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.
Review project proposals or plans to determine timeframe, funding, procedures, staffing requirements, and resources for each phase.
Review status reports from project personnel and adjust schedules/plans as needed.
Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
Provide technical advice and resolve problems; represent the company in Owner progress meetings.
Manage financial aspects of contracts and be responsible for project profit or loss.
Lead project team in daily field coordination meetings, weekly block schedule meetings, and monthly safety kickoff meetings.
Mentor and assist with career development of other team members.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager with Water Treatment/Wastewater projects.
Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities; ability to oversee multiple projects and coordinate with engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
