Role and Location Role: PMO Support Quality Specialist (Project Quality Manager Specialist) – North America Cross Car Line, Auburn Hills, Michigan. Work location: Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Responsibilities The Engineer is responsible for developing and executing standardization of manufacturing quality enablers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Performing root cause analysis of quality issues using tools such as Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Design of Experiments, etc., and recommending and implementing cost-effective permanent corrective actions. - Analyzing quality data from internal and external indicators; managing engineering changes with a cross-functional team to ensure timely execution. - Conducting product evaluation tests to ensure robustness of product or process changes before full implementation; acting as the point of contact for engineering quality and all product-related incidents. - Delivering third-party quality metrics; analyzing data to identify new opportunities; developing and executing standardization with cross-functional responsibilities in a lean organization. - Planning, prioritizing, setting goals, and managing multiple projects in a technical and business environment. - Maintaining strong communication to support meetings at all levels, including senior leadership; establishing internal and external partnerships and influencing without direct authority. - Demonstrating commitment to delivering a premier product, representing the Voice of the Customer to platform teams, and driving team success by clarifying expectations and minimizing political hurdles. - Translating ideas into actions that deliver results and showing integrity and hands-on leadership.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited university

Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels

Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels

Experience and working knowledge of computer systems and software required
