Job Summary:

Entrada Partners is seeking a Construction Manager to serve as the Owner’s Representative on construction projects. This role will oversee all phases of the construction process—from pre-construction through closeout—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Entrada’s quality standards. The Construction Manager will work closely with Forge Constructors, Entrada’s preferred General Contractor, as well as architects, tenants, property management, and other stakeholders.

This role is based in Addison, TX. Travel to project sites throughout Dallas, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio will be required.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage construction projects for tenant improvements, make-readies, and capital improvements.

Collaborate with Asset Management, architects, and Forge Constructors on scope, budgets, bids, and value engineering.

Manage permitting, inspections, and city approvals; ensure compliance with codes and regulations.

Monitor contractor performance to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Review contracts, change orders, and payment applications for accuracy and documentation.

Support tenant-led projects by reviewing plans, vetting contractors, and conducting site inspections.

Assist in acquisition due diligence by preparing budgets and identifying potential construction risks.

Develop project schedules and reports, providing regular updates to Asset Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

5–7 years of construction management experience, preferably in commercial real estate.

Proven experience as an Owner’s Representative or in a GC-facing role.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, permitting, and compliance.

Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in construction management software.
