The strategic role of a Senior SAP S/4HANA Project Systems Solution Architect is critical to the success of modern, project-centric enterprises. This is not merely a technical configuration role; it is a leadership position responsible for architecting the digital backbone of the organization\'s core value-delivery process — the project. The architect orchestrates the convergence of logistics, finance, and advanced manufacturing within a single, integrated SAP S/4HANA solution to translate business strategy into a robust, scalable enterprise system. The architect serves as the design authority for the entire project lifecycle from inquiry and configuration through to final delivery and financial settlement. Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of an integrated SAP S/4HANA Project Systems solution that aligns with business strategy and delivers visibility, profitability, and optimized value delivery. Architect cross-functional processes across logistics, finance, and manufacturing within the SAP S/4HANA framework. Serve as the design authority for the project lifecycle from initial customer inquiry and configuration through final delivery and financial settlement. Required Qualifications
Strong experience in program, project, and project portfolio management business processes, KPIs, and KROs used across project-centric organizations. Knowledge of: PMI project management practices, INCOSE systems engineering practices, APQP methodology (automotive/industrial equipment), and experience applying engineering, manufacturing, and service management in programs and project portfolios. Experience and knowledge in government funds planning and management. Industry Knowledge and Experience
Demonstrated knowledge in one or more: Aerospace and Defense; Automotive New Model Development and Market Launch; Energy – Upstream Exploration; Real Estate Development and Home Building; Industrial Equipment – Make to Order (MTO) / Engineer to Order (ETO); Public Sector – New Program Development, Planning, and Management. SAP Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
10+ years of SAP S/4HANA ERP and integrating applications experience, with a focus on Project System (PS) and related modules. End-to-end solution design for at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in project-driven manufacturing or ETO environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business; advanced degrees are a plus. Current SAP S/4HANA certifications in areas such as Project System, Logistics, or Solution Architecture are highly desirable. Specific SAP areas include: PS-LOG (Logistical Process Orchestration, Scheduling and Capacity Management, Materials Management Integration, Sales and Production Integration); PS-FIN (Cost and Revenue Planning, Budget Management, Period-End Closing, Project Billing); PMMO concepts, pegging and distribution, legacy GPD knowledge; VC in ETO scenarios (VC-PS integration, Configurable Networks, Advanced Variant Configuration); Enterprise Integration Architecture (external PPM systems, EVMS integration).
