Base pay range
$55.00/hr - $60.00/hr Job Description: We are looking for an experienced
Fuselage/Wing Stress Engineer
to join our team in
Richardson, TX . This role requires expertise in
static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis
for aircraft structures, with a strong understanding of
Boeing methodologies
and stress tools. Key Responsibilities: Perform
static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis
of aircraft structures using
classical hand calculations . Apply
Boeing Static and Book 1, 2, and 3 Fatigue Analysis Methodologies . Utilize Boeing stress tools, including
IAS, XSA/SA+, FEADMS, IDTAS, Moss-Duberg, and FAMOSS . Analyze
load paths
and extract loads from
Finite Element Models (FEM) . Conduct
Damage Tolerance Analysis (DTA)
in compliance with
CFR25.571 . Determine
critical failure modes
and ensure
structural integrity . Perform analysis of
primary and secondary metallic aircraft structures . Read and interpret
engineering drawings . Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
(Design, Materials & Process Engineering). Participate in
customer and SME review meetings . Generate
Engineering Stress Reports
to establish compliance and safety. Engage with customers to understand
Scope of Work and methodology . Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable): Bachelor’s degree
in
Mechanical
or
Aerospace Engineering . 5+ years of experience
(up to 18 years) as a
Stress Engineer in the Aerospace industry . Strong expertise in
stress analysis of aero structures . Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of
aerospace industry standards
and regulations. Experience in
metallic and composite structural analysis . Proficiency in
load calculations, stress calculations, and technical report preparation . Hands-on experience with
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
tools like
Nastran, Patran, FEMAP . Experience in
static, fatigue, and damage tolerance calculations . Familiarity with
MRB (Material Review Board) and SRM (Structural Repair Manual) . Proficiency in
CATIA V5 and Enovia . Strong
oral and written communication
and
interpersonal skills . If you're a
