Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
Responsible for making electrical repairs, including but not limited to repair and placement of outlets, light fixtures, and equipment; fixes all property electronic equipment (except for slot machines and computers) by repairing damage to parts and wiring and replacing failed components.
Responds to electrical outages, performs electrical‑related tasks, and assists management in the daily electrical power management programs in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength and compliance goals.
Set up and maintain an inventory of electrical parts, including various sized fuses, wire junction boxes, receptacle boxes, re‑ceptacles etc., in order to respond to any electrical needs in a timely manner.
Ensure all electrical panels are locked at all times, and electrical closets are clean and free of stored products.
Check panels on a regular basis, to ensure each panel has a legend for the active breakers, and a list of spare breakers.
Assist with any testing of electrical equipment performed by outside vendors, or by upper management.
Perform daily rounds and create a check list for monitoring the performance of all electrical systems throughout the property.
Perform electrical repairs, electrical modifications, and assist with planning electrical needs throughout the property.
Assist electrical technicians on property and monitor performance, check work upon completion to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
Monitor electrical system repairs and enforce safety procedures when aware of the tasks being performed by the vendor, including lockout/tag‑out procedures.
Inform management of any unsafe conditions immediately, and take precautionary measures to protect our team members, our guests, and our property.
Assist management in setting up a preventive maintenance program for all electrical appliances, switchgear, and electrical systems.
Assist in the process of restarting the electrical powered systems after a planned shutdown or power outage.
Adheres to departmental quality standards and follows all safety practices and procedures.
Review assigned work orders and determine work priorities.
Install machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous operations.
Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment.
Inspect kitchen machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards; repair refrigerator equipment as needed.
Basic knowledge of general repairs, installations, any electrical repair, painting, wallpapering, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform preventive maintenance to equipment on a scheduled basis.
Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED; Associate’s/Technical degree preferred; 5 or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies.
Ability to identify problems.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
Intermediate computer knowledge; MS Office.
