The F-35 is designed with the entire battlespace in mind, bringing new flexibility and capability to the United States and its allies. Reliance on any single capability — electronic attack, stealth, etc. — is not sufficient for success and survivability in the future. Missions traditionally performed by specialized aircraft — air-to-air combat, air-to-ground strikes, electronic attack, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance — can now be executed by a squadron of F-35s. F35 Aircraft Mate/ Forward Fuselage Manufacturing Engineering Sr will directly support primarily the FWD production team. What You Will Be Doing Perform floor support to solve immediate production constraints. Develop corrective actions to improve the production system, reducing Scrap Rework and Repair (SRR) cost and hours per unit (HPU). Update the manufacturing plan Perform manufacturing evaluations of engineering changes Perform QAR corrective action Create cost reduction initiatives Other Manufacturing Engineering standard work (Tool Trial Runs, Work Around Plans, etc.).
