Houston, TX (Energy Corridor) Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a fast-growing team, well positioned Marine Construction company. This role involves coordinating project activities, working closely with the project manager and project management team, writing procedures, interfacing with clients, and occasionally boarding vessels to oversee scopes of work. The projects include cable-lay and burial, dredging, marine construction, and subsea installation of umbilicals. Experience with marine operations is essential. Responsibilities: Coordinate project activities and ensure smooth project delivery. Work closely with the project manager and project management team. Develop, review, and implement detailed project engineering procedures and work scopes. Interface with clients to ensure project requirements are met. Occasionally board vessels to oversee scopes of work. Lead installation and offshore operations. Provide technical insight and innovative solutions to engineering challenges. Contribute to the organization’s growth beyond just project engineering. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Engineering or Construction Management Minimum 4+ years of experience in marine construction, cable-lay, dredging, subsea installation, or related fields. Strong background in developing and executing engineering procedures. Hands-on approach with a knack for problem-solving in dynamic environments. Experience with cable-lay and burial, dredging, marine construction, and subsea installation of umbilicals. Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative team player. Comfortable working across disciplines and stepping outside your comfort zone. Open to occasional offshore travel to oversee scopes of work. Must be US Citizen / US Perm Resident Why Join Us?
