Job Description
R&D Equipment Engineer to support R&D development systems related to ion beam implantation and wafer handling for 150mm, 200mm & 300mm wafers for Si, SiC and thin wafer applications.
Act as the tool owner for engineering assets, including maintenance, repair and interfacing with facilities and performing upgrades.
Perform installation and replacement of required gases and chemicals used on system following safety approved procedures and ensure all safety interlocks are operational.
Run tests and experiments as specified by R&D team, perform data formatting and analysis, and present findings and improvements to cross‑functional teams.
Develop and install instrumentation and measurement systems as needed.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback and input to engineering teams on system improvements.
Provide documentation support such as creating/maintaining drawings, procedures, test procedures and test data.
Collect and preserve data for all tests completed.
Interact with on‑site manufacturing warehouse and equipment engineering teams as required.
Qualifications
B.S. in engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
Preferred experience with wafer handling systems.
Experience working on ion beam, plasma and RF related systems is not required but beneficial.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

U.S. BASE SALARY RANGE $72,360.00 – $108,540.00
