Production Manager - Packaging - Edison, NJ. Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr. Oversee daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to optimize operations Manage labor planning, shift transitions, and inventory levels Support union relations and help resolve grievances constructively Lead and participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives Provide accurate production reporting and analysis using internal systems Train, motivate, and develop team members to meet operational goals Collaborate with sales and order desk to align production with customer demand Maintain strong communication across all levels of the organization Profile / Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role College education and technical background preferred, but not required Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills Proficiency in production software and reporting tools Experience working in a unionized environment Familiarity with ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles Able to work occasional Saturdays when required Job Offer
